JI emir rails against ruling class
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Emir Sirajul Haq on Tuesday said the people were forced to commit suicide because of "flawed" economic policies of the ruling class.
Expressing his thoughts, Mr Haq took a swipe at the rulers, claiming, "The rulers have no solution to take economy on the right track. The burden of the rulers fall on the people, who are suffering from extreme poverty and unemployment".
In reference to the Greece boat tragedy, Mr Haq said, "The rulers are responsible for the incident."
"Given the circumstances, the degree holders are forced to leave the nation," he rued.
"I would like to request the nation to wage a jihad against the violence with the power of vote," Mr Haq said.
